The Black Forest Muffins

Long time, no muffins recipe, so I decided to make some muffins again. One of my favourite cakes is the black forest cake and since I had no time (and you can’t make a whole cake for two people) I made black forest muffins. A lot of chocolate, and I wasn’t mean with cherries either.   Ingredients 1 egg 80 g sugar 120 g flour 30 g cocoa powder 100 g melted chocolate Half of the jar of canned cherries 1 dl juice from canned cherries 1 dl milk 0,5 dl oil A teaspoon of baking powder 100 g dark […]

Chocolate Raspberry Cake

A special recipe this week! Two days ago, my boyfriend celebrated his birthday so I tried my best at making his birthday cake. Because of the current situation with social distancing, it was just us, so this cake is a little bit smaller than other cakes on this blog. But you can double the ingredients and make a bigger cake, but careful – only when celebrations are allowed again. I made a chocolate sponge cake filled with chocolate cream and raspberries – sweet taste of chocolate and a little sour raspberries completed each other very well. The cake goes well […]

Fall recipes continue! This year, we have been blessed with apples and since the name of this blog is Something Different, I have decided to make something different this week, too. Usual apple pie is really delicious, but what if I made it even more delicious by adding chocolate in it? Chocolate is always a good choice, and I must say these two flavours complete each other very well. Ingredients The crust: 275 g flour 100 g sugar 150 g butter 7-8 g baking powder 75 g cocoa powder 1 egg   The filling: 4 larger apples 2 tablespoons of […]

No-bake Chocolate Liquor Cheesecake

This week is perfect for a night-in with my friends. When we have these our »mini-parties«, I’m usually the one to bring something sweet. My friends just love this simple cheesecake, which doesn’t require much work, and you don’t even have to bake. Just be careful that you don’t overdo in the chocolate liquor. It’s very delicious, but only in small portions 😉 You will need the next ingredients. Cookie crust: 250 g butter cookies 80 g butter 6 tablespoons chocolate liquor   Filling: 500 g mascarpone cheese Tablespoon of icing sugar 200 g chocolate 100 ml chocolate liquor (or […]

Mini Apple Pies

Now there’s no doubt the fall is finally here, that’s why I have a new fall recipe for all of you who love apple pie. There’s nothing better than a hot apple pie, fresh out of the oven, while you enjoy reading a book, watching the series, and admiring the raindrops outside. The preparation of these mini pies is very simple, and it will take you about an hour (plus baking time – half an hour), which is a little bit more than an ordinary apple pie, but aren’t these mini apple pies just adorable? Ingredients (for 12 pieces): Crust […]
